It would be nice. But as i'm somebody that doesn't drink all because of my late natural mother's habits i think it's nice as a flavour.
Some gravys have it mixed in.

I like that one. I also like their Claret with the fancy gold mesh on the bottle. (Ooo, bling bottle!)

I basically buy a case of each each time I stock up. Those are both "no one who likes red wine won't enjoy this" safe picks.

Saw this at Costco and bought it based on the label. Not a bad cab for dinner.

About this wine? Light tannin, noticeable oak, typical "this is a Napa cabernet" aroma, lots of berry flavors in the finish. We enjoyed it. It's a bottling from some place called Roots Run Deep Winery in American Canyon.

are you a fan of some Cab Franc or blends with that grape?

Lately the red served casually around here has been Zin Blends
    Ridge, Prisoner etc.,

Others have been Amador County/Lodi etc., Italian Varietals & Blends.

Our favorite dinner wines tend to be Zins from Amador County or the Paso Robles area. But we like to try lots of things.

DYohn - We just celebrated Mother Nature spectacular sunset show at the RV park we're in at Newport, OR. My go to is Tobin James - James Gang Reserve Zin. But last night, I dug out my second to the last one Fat Boy!! (I keep telling the wife, we need to move from this 40' to a 45' - so we can carry an adequate supply of vino!!!).

Of course, their Silver's are good too...

On the cab front, our departing evening from Newport - we'll be aided in saying goodbye to the region, with a Justin's Isosceles... (Then back to Bota, with in the right light - still tastes like a 'Bag-O-Wine' in a Box!!)

    Best to all,
    Smitty

We've been together 25 years. Decided to pay someone else to cook our steaks.
