    Nah, I did it all by myself, but I took it apart first. Without the dome, grate, fire ring, coal grate and fire pot, the bottom is manageable. If you look close you will see the "table nest" that keeps the bottom air spaced off the wood. Without this the wood would burn. The side don't get hot enough, but the bottom does.

    Last night I ran my finger over the varnish and got a splinter, so today it will get a little sanding before yet another coat of urethane. I didn't use any stain but that urethane will get a little "golden" with age and that should be perfect.
