Ok years ago I was watching a game on MSG and the Rangers were wearing their white jerseys.. a guy had taken a slash and was bleeding real bad. His jersey was covered in blood and one of the rules is they can’t have blood because it is a hazard. So they stopped his bleeding but before he could re-enter the game they had to get the blood off the jersey and a guy came to the bench with a spray bottle, labeled blood be gone and proceeded to spray down the jersey until it was bright white again. Al Trautwig was there reporting on it the whole time.
