    "
Back at Symton, Taranow pops a couple of oven-dried soldier fly larvae into her mouth. “Honestly, they taste like Fritos,” she said.
They have a pleasant, neutral, nutty flavor to them."

"In one year, a single acre of black soldier fly larvae can produce more protein than 3,000 acres of cattle or 130 acres of soybeans."

Ugh. But maybe this will be utilized in space as we colonize mars or Venus or ____?!

But the real benefit seems to be in food waste utilization. Carbon footprint minimization and feed for other animals.

    Fascinating.

There is no such thing as "almond milk." It's nut juice.

I could see a ground meat alternative being formulated from this stuff. Add the Heam, formulated by Impossible Foods, and you have a tasty, high protein, burger with low environmental impact.
