My 14 y/o granddaughter wants wireless earbuds for Xmas. I have never even considered going wireless and haven't a clue what to look for. Primarily for music, but she also listens to podcasts and other spoken word streams. Her phone is a Samsung J7.

    Recommendations desperately needed!

I am trying out these Phaiser bluetooth earbuds for the gym and liking them a lot. The sound good and come very well packaged with a case. Lots of colors to choose from too. They make a lesser cost model too that my wife is using around the house for music and podcasts.

Sorry, but the wife may just be wearing those as ear plugs. She's tuning you out.

Timely. My son wants the Samsungs and they get bad reviews. I'll grab the Ankers. Thanks.

I decided to go with the Ankers, I think they will work just fine for her. And when she loses them I won't feel like she stabbed me in the heart or wallet.

My JayBird Freedoms right side died last night. They were a warranty replacement for an X2 pair that did the same thing in 2017. Got 3 years out of the 2 sets total. Given I used them for audiobooks and watching Netflix or YouTube putting kids to bed and the disposable nature of these wireless in ears I decided to order a set of these last night too.

Got them today. Working well so far. Haven't used them outside yet. Nothing spectacular, but they are way closer to the Bragi Dash I had before than I'd like to admit given the price difference.
